Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy
The International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) is committed to preserving its published scholarly content and supporting continued access to articles, issues, metadata, and publication records.
The journal applies appropriate technical and administrative measures designed to reduce the risk of data loss and support the long-term availability, integrity, and accessibility of published content during routine system maintenance, server changes, software updates, website migration, or unexpected technical disruption.

Information Security & Access Control
Measures applied to safeguard publication records include:

External Digital Preservation Transparency
IJRI distinguishes routine website and database backups from independent long-term digital preservation. The journal may establish formal deposit or preservation arrangements with recognized external digital-preservation systems in the future.
Any external preservation service, partnership, badge, or related claim will be displayed on the journal website only after the relevant arrangement has been formally established and is operational. Until such an arrangement is established, the journal will not represent routine server backups or website-management systems as independent external digital-preservation services.
Author Self-Archiving Policy
IJRI permits authors to archive and share the Published Version of Record of their articles without an embargo, subject to the terms of the applicable open-access license.
Authors may deposit the published article in:
The archived version should include the complete bibliographic citation, journal title, and DOI or persistent article link where available. Reuse and redistribution must comply with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Journal Preservation Responsibilities
IJRI is responsible for maintaining its published article and issue files, preserving relevant publication metadata, maintaining correction and retraction notices, managing DOI-related publication information, and supporting appropriate backup and restoration procedures.
Changes to published records are documented in accordance with the journal’s applicable corrections, retractions, and publication-ethics policies.
Author Research-Data Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for retaining research data, statistical records, ethics documentation, informed-consent records, source files, and other underlying materials in accordance with institutional, legal, ethical, and funder requirements.
Where legitimate research-integrity concerns arise, the journal may request relevant underlying records from the authors, subject to confidentiality and legal restrictions.
Preservation & Integrity of the Scholarly Record
Published articles form part of the permanent scholarly record. Where an article is retracted, the bibliographic and publication records remain accessible and clearly linked to the corresponding retraction notice in accordance with IJRI’s Article Withdrawal Policy and Corrections and Retractions Policy.
Exceptional Content Removal
Complete removal of published content occurs only under rare and exceptional circumstances, such as:
- A binding legal or court requirement
- Serious privacy or confidentiality violations
- Defamatory or otherwise unlawful material
- Content presenting a serious and immediate risk to public safety
Where technically and legally permissible, a bibliographic record or removal notice will remain available explaining that the content has been removed and stating the reason at an appropriate level of detail.
Policy Review & Updates
This Digital Archiving Policy may be reviewed periodically to reflect changes in the journal’s technical infrastructure, publishing systems, preservation arrangements, and applicable scholarly-publishing practices.
