Peer-Review Process
The International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) follows a double-blind peer-review process to maintain academic quality, originality, and research integrity. The journal is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and impartial evaluation process for all submitted manuscripts.
Under the double-blind peer-review model, the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors. This process supports objective assessment and reduces the possibility of bias during manuscript evaluation.
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment before being forwarded for peer review. The initial screening considers:
- • Relevance to the aims and scope of IJRI.
- • Compliance with the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines.
- • Adherence to recognised ethical requirements.
- • Plagiarism screening and reference verification.
Reviewer Selection Criteria
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to independent reviewers on the basis of:
- • Relevant subject knowledge and expertise.
- • Academic qualifications and research experience.
- • Publication record in the relevant subject area.
- • Absence of actual or potential conflicts of interest.

Editorial Decisions
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision may be:
Authors must address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript together with a point-by-point response. The revised manuscript may undergo further review before a final editorial decision is made.
Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest
Submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential scholarly documents throughout the evaluation process. Reviewers and editors must not share, cite, distribute, or use unpublished material for personal or professional advantage. Any actual or potential personal, professional, institutional, or financial conflict of interest must be declared immediately. Reviewers or editors with a relevant conflict must withdraw from the evaluation process.
Peer-Review Misconduct
Any attempt to compromise or manipulate the peer-review process constitutes serious publication misconduct. Prohibited practices include:
- • Providing false reviewer recommendations
- • Fabricating reviewer reports
- • Manipulating editorial records
- • Breaching confidentiality
Where such misconduct is identified, the journal may reject the manuscript and notify the relevant institution or authority where appropriate.
Review Timeline
Authors are informed of the final editorial decision after the reviewer reports and editorial assessment have been completed.
Publication Ethics
The peer-review procedures of the International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) are developed with reference to the COPE Core Practices and recognised international publication-ethics standards. The journal seeks to maintain integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical responsibility throughout its editorial processes.
Editorial Responsibility
Reviewer recommendations are advisory and assist the editor in making an informed publication decision. The final responsibility for the accuracy of research data, interpretations, conclusions, and scientific integrity remains with the authors of the published work.
