Post-Publication Discussion Policy

The International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) encourages responsible scholarly discussion after publication. Readers, authors, researchers, reviewers, institutions, and other members of the academic community may submit comments, responses, clarifications, replication findings, methodological concerns, corrections, or evidence relating to a published article.

Post-publication discussion supports transparency, academic debate, proper correction of the scholarly record, and the continued evaluation of published research outputs.

Forms of Tracked Discussion

The journal systematically considers multiple submission forms:

  • • Letters to the Editor & formal article comments.
  • • Methodological critiques & replication/reproducibility data.
  • • Requests for clarification or flags on typographical/factual errors.
  • • Ethical concern updates and research-integrity metrics.
Submission Requirements

Submissions must be routed to the official email, focusing strictly on scholarly parameters and supplying:

  • • Sender’s full name, affiliation, and contact parameters.
  • • Target article title along with its persistent URL or DOI link.
  • • Supporting documentation, datasets, or evidence maps.
  • • An explicit declaration of any relevant conflict of interest.
Scholarly Boundary Guidelines

Acceptable Scholarly Debate
• Questioning study methodology or conclusions data.
• Presenting alternative statistical analysis models.
• Reporting difficulties in reproducing published results.
• Highlighting factual error blocks or integrity concerns.
Prohibited Content Types
• Personal attacks or abusive, threatening language.
• Unsupported accusations or misleading, fake claims.
• Disclosing confidential personal or institutional elements.
• Excessive repetition or unvetted promotional advocacy.
Initial Assessment & Author Defense

The Editorial Office screens submissions for relevance, respectfulness, and substance. If a critique is deemed actionable, the original corresponding author is given a fair window to supply an evidence-based response, which can be linked directly alongside the comment.

Peer Review & Expert Evaluation

Complex critiques may undergo external peer evaluation or independent scrutiny by research-integrity advisers, methodology specialists, or non-conflicted board panels. Conflicted editors or reviewers are systematically excluded from participating in final decisions.

Potential Editorial Outcomes & Resolutions

Material anomalies affecting the accuracy, data reliability, or ethical validity of a published article may result in:

• Formal Corrections / Clarifications
• Expressions of Concern (pending inquiries)
• Formal Retractions / Record Stamps

All issued correction notices, concerns, or retractions will be dated and permanently linked to the Version of Record to maintain archival integrity.

Integrity Investigations The journal handles misconduct claims confidentially and may contact institutions, employers, ethics boards, or funders. Public comments are not required to launch an inquiry.
Anonymity & Anonymized Data Anonymous concerns are reviewed if specific, verifiable evidence is supplied. Anonymity is protected unless disclosure is mandatory for due process or compliance.
Operational Timelines Submissions are acknowledged within five working days. The complete duration depends on data complexity, reviewer cycles, or external institutional timelines.
Final Editorial Authority & Preservation of Academic Debate

The final decision regarding any post-publication submission rests entirely with the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized independent editor, based strictly on factual evidence, fairness, and scholarly relevance parameters.

Preservation of Debate: IJRI will not suppress respectful, legitimate academic criticism merely because authors disagree with the findings. The journal aims to isolate genuine scholarly disagreement from misconduct allegations, deploying the most accurate response vehicle for the concern.

Policy Periodicity Update Clause

This framework undergoes periodic modifications to mirror updates in global research ethics codes, open science parameters, and international publishing norms. The latest authorized version remains completely available via the official IJRI platform.
